hey all!
wow, what a super duper warm welcoming you've all given me! i'm so touched (from a far)! and so glad i have FINALLY
become part of this online family.
a quick post for now, because i just received a call that reluctant and i are invited to go see kathy griffin
this evening! there definitely are perks to living in this warp zone!
as for the job search, today i applied to three new places - making that twelve different jobs i have sent applications
and/or resumes to... shoot, finding a job is harder work than having a job!
i am on -call for one place - entertainment labor force - they set up for conventions, concerts, etc. so now i'm just
waiting for the call part. the las vegas art museum is excited about me, however they are a small institution and will not be changing
exhibitions until january - which they said they'll call me for... (no worries, western mass - you come first!) but i am excited about that. i miss working in museums.
so, until then i am putting myself out there for everything - from homo despot to cirque du soleil to michaels arts and crafts to a variety of scene shops - and even cold f'n stone creamery - man, i love ice cream.
eventually someone will have to (hopefully) realize i'm worth the trouble!
other thank that, playing house boy and taking care of the digs, reading, a bit of bike riding, hiking out at the red rock canyon, petting kitties, supporting the rights of sex workers and hanging out in cheeeeap bars with lots of toothless folks, feminists and tequila drinkers.
all in a day's work. cheers for now!
